POPSUGAR Reading Challenge Update: Week Twenty-Nine

Good morning, everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic week so far, and that you are continuing to stay healthy.

Unfortunately, this has been a very rough week for me, allergy-wise. While the sinus issues have been annoying, the big problem is that I keep breaking out in hives. I’ve had to take Benadryl every day this week, and as a result, most of my free time has been taken up by napping instead than reading.

While I did not have the opportunity to finish any books for the POPSUGAR Reading Challenge this week, I am currently reading two titles for the challenge. They are…

  • A Blade So Black, by L.L. McKinney
  • The Lost and Found Bookshop, by Susan Wiggs

I hope to be able to share my thoughts about both of these books in next week’s update.

Next week’s POPSUGAR Reading Challenge update will be posted on Saturday, July 24th. In the meantime, I hope you will join me here on The Unapologetic Bookworm on Wednesday for my review of Hallie Rubenhold’s The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed By Jack the Ripper.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Ughhh, sorry to hear that about the allergies. One of my relatives has recently developed an allergy to some of the pollen from trees in her yard and she has to deal with hives too. Very unpleasant.

On the bright side, hopefully this means you’re catching up on any sleep debt!

    1. Thanks! I’m currently not sure if the problem is environmental or food-related, but knowing my luck it’s probably both. I am definitely catching up on my sleep though.
