As I mentioned in a previous post, one of my goals for 2021 is to participate in at least four readathons during the new year. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in three, including: Bout of Books 30, the Mini Manga Readathon portion of the Japanese Readathon, and March Mystery Madness. All of these readathons have been a tremendous amount of fun, and I’ve really enjoyed participating in readathons of varying lengths.
During the month of April, I had planned to participate in the Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon (which takes place this weekend), and actually signed up for the event several weeks ago. This is a readathon that I always look forward to participating in, because it is a tremendous amount of fun, as well as a great challenge.
Over the past week, however, I’ve started feeling like I need to reexamine my current work/life balance and make a few changes to my schedule. As a result, I’m going to be taking a break from participating in readathons for a while (probably for the next couple of months).
Even though I won’t be participating in the Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon this weekend, I hope you will continue to visit The Unapologetic Bookworm for book reviews and other new content. Thank you so much for your continued support!
