One of my goals for 2021, which I’ll be sharing in more detail later this week, is to participate in several different readathons throughout the new year. Beginning on January 4th, I will be participating in the Bout of Books Readathon. This will be my first time participating in this particular readathon, and I’m really looking forward to it!
If you’re not familiar with Bout of Books, here is the official description from the Bout of Books website…
“The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are reading sprints, Twitter chats, and exclusive Instagram challenges, but they’re all completely optional. For all Bout of Books 30 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team”
At this point, I have not chosen a list of books that I’d like to read for Bout of Books, but I am considering several possibilities.
While I will discuss my readathon experience here on The Unapologetic Bookworm, most of my updates will be taking place on social media during the event itself. If you’d like to follow my readathon journey next week, I will be posting Bout of Books updates on both Twitter and Instagram.
