POPSUGAR Reading Challenge 2020 Update: Week Thirty-Four

Hey everyone! I hope that you have been enjoying the weekend so far, and that you are continuing to stay healthy.

Many of you already know from my post on Wednesday that my grandmother passed away this past week. I decided to take a little time away from both The Unapologetic Bookworm and Patreon to be available for my family, and to kind of re-center myself emotionally.

It’s been a sad week, but it has also been a good one. I’ve been able to spend a lot of time talking about Grandma with my family and friends, and while there have been tears, there has also been a lot of laughter as we’ve shared some of our favorite memories of her. I am still very sad that Grandma is gone, and will be for quite some time, but having the opportunity to talk about her (and my memories of her) has been really helpful.

I want to thank all of you for your understanding and support this past week. Also, thank you again to everyone who reached out to me with messages of condolence, both here on The Unapologetic Bookworm and on Goodreads. Your messages really mean a lot to me and my family.

It probably won’t come as a surprise to you that I did not manage to finish reading Lilith’s Brood this past week. I am going to be getting back into the book this week, and should be able to review the trilogy in my next POPSUGAR Reading Challenge update. I am planning to post that update on Saturday at its regular time.

This week on The Unapologetic Bookworm, we’re going to be focusing on a Home Library Project that I am really looking forward to tackling. I will also be posting two reviews that were originally going to come out last week. One is a continuation of my series of Reverse Readathon book reviews, and the other is a movie review.

I hope you will check back frequently for new updates!
