Whoo hoo! I have officially made it through the entire Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon! I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to stay awake for those last few hours, but I managed to do it, and I’m very proud of myself. I’m also completely wiped out! There is definitely a nap in my very near future…

Since my last update, I managed to read one additional book, which brings my total up to twelve books read during the past 24 hours!

  • The Blue Sword (Robin McKinley)
The final stack of completed books!

I did have the opportunity to begin reading Come Tumbling Down, by Seanan McGuire, prior to the end of the Readathon, but unfortunately did not have time to finish. I will most likely be finishing it later this afternoon.

As a whole, I enjoyed participating in the Readathon. I had the opportunity to read a lot of great books, which was a very nice way to spend the day. I am definitely considering participating in the next Readathon, which is supposed to take place in October, but will probably not take part for the full 24 hours again. The lack of sleep is just a bit too much.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed going on this journey with me today. I will be returning to regular updates in a few days, beginning with posts about the titles that I was unable to review during the Readathon. If there is a particular book I mentioned in my Readathon updates that you are interested in learning more about, please let me know in the comments, and I will make my review of that title a priority. This week’s POPSUGAR Reading Challenge update will be posted at it’s normal Saturday time.

I am going to go feed Darcy, and then I do believe it is time for a well-deserved nap. I hope you have a great rest of the weekend. Stay safe and healthy!
